This morning, the "2017 (11th) China Automobile Lightweight Technology Seminar" was grandly held in Changsha, Hunan. This conference was co-sponsored by the Automotive Lightweight Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance and China Automotive Engineering Society, and co-sponsored by China Automobile (Hunan) Base Development Co., Ltd. and the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Automobile Body Design and Manufacturing (Hunan University).
As an annual event in the field of automotive lightweight technology in China, it has received widespread attention and active participation from the industry. The conference brought together nearly 700 representatives from domestic vehicle and parts companies, scientific research institutes, raw material companies, government agencies, testing institutions and equipment companies to attend. The conference lasted for 3 days, and September 4-6 was a special technical exchange and a display of lightweight technology and products. On the 6th, the organizers also arranged on-site visits to the State Key Laboratory of Vehicle Body of Hunan University and GAC Mitsubishi. China Automotive Materials Network was invited to participate as a conference support media.
The plenary session focused on exchanges and discussions on key technologies and issues in new energy vehicle system engineering, interpretation of relevant national policies and strategic plans related to the development of automobile lightweight, and the development trends of industry lightweight technology. From afternoon to tomorrow, the nine branch venues will focus on automotive steel, automotive aluminum and magnesium alloys, automotive non-metallic materials, automotive connection technology, automotive lightweight design, commercial vehicle lightweight, lightweight molds and equipment, postgraduate forums, and lightweight In-depth discussions will be carried out on cutting-edge technologies, and more than 160 experts, scholars and engineering technicians from the front line of domestic automotive lightweight technology scientific research and engineering practice will make special reports on their research results and engineering cases. A booth was set up at the venue, and many lightweight companies demonstrated their products and technologies on site.
