DERNS-FC20 combines mechanical and thermal properties to offer excellent opportunities for a very cost- effective solution for tools and dies of many industrial applications, in particular plastic injection moulding, or resin transfer moulding, and dies and inserts of short series and prototyping of hot stamping processes etc. It features high thermal conductivity, high wear resistance, high polishability and weldability.
It is delivered in pre-hardened state of about 400 ± 20 HB.
